Another place worth of visiting during your stay in Rhodes is Κάμειρος. It is further away from city of Rhodes than Petaloudes, but it also takes one hour by bus to get there. Probably some traffic anomaly.
It is a nice place where you can spend about one half of day. It is close to west coast on slope of hill, so it offers nice blue and yellow contrast during sunny days.
There are guards around premise and use a whistle when somebody wants to take opportunity of better point of view and stands on block or sits on it. Pretty annoying, but I understand the whole point.

Apart from small restaurant near entrance, there are 2 or 3 places where people can rest. This one offer nice view of place and most important also some shade.
