Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes

Let's start again with photos of palace.

Some of these photos are HDR. When I took them I did not realize how hard it will be to merge them successfully. I wanted to get point stars instead of lines, then there was a occasional wind not allowing nice merge of trees, but the biggest obstacle was blooming changing tree contours.

I guess the method I was using was not meant for such kind of photos and I had to experiment a lot. But it got easier with subsequent ones. It is pity that now, 6 months later, I would probably was not able to repeat the process again. I probably should have taken notes, but I though that being lazy is more convenient ;-)

I haven't realized there is rising Moon on the left when I took this photo. I should have returned to this place before retuning to hotel, Moon would be out and it would be better photo.

Whole place was still busy at this time, much less than during day, but still full of nice smells of food, with nice or less nice music, depending on your taste.

It was best visible while I was taking the 2nd photo of this post - the gate. I needed 3 photos ranging from 8 to 30 seconds and after several tries I gave up, deciding that smudges of people passing around me will enhance the photo instead of making it worse :-)

I like the clouds behind minaret on the right photo.
    

This place was so busy, that I needed to combine 3 exposures to get rid of most smudges people have made here.
