« Norway Day 8 - flight to Oslo | Kidwelly Castle » |
We bought 1 day Oslo Pass that allowed us unlimited travel by public transport and free entry to most of attractions in Oslo. Our exploration could begin.
I have a lot of photos from Oslo and I struggled for a while to decide how I am going to split it to pages. Previously used Morning/Afternoon won't work so I decided to make a split on areas of interest regardless time, location and how many times we have been there.
Buildings everywhere
This page shows things that could be generally named as buidings :-) That does not mean that all concrete rectangular things other 2 pages show are not buildings, they just fitted better to different categorization.
Open air musem
This museum is also located at Bigdøy, but there are no ships, so it will be featured here. It is the biggest one we have seen in Norway and Iceland.
I am proud of photo on the right. No flash, no tripod, just handheld 1/2s :-)
Akershus Castle
We've visited Oslo Castle. The best thing about it was that no guided tour was there. We saved time not waiting for its start and going through in our own pace. I would say it was the first place from whole trip we actually saved some time :-)
City
A few assorted snapshots from Oslo I took during a course of day. No attempt to identify them was made.
