Seychelles - light and magic at Anse Source D'Argent

I had so many photos from Anse Source D'Argent that I decided to split them into 2 posts. This second post will show rest of photos. Current theme is magic of evening light.

If you want to be at this place for sunset, you will need to have some source of light. It is getting dark quickly and L'Union Estate is quite big. There is not much illumination in estate so you might get lost easily. We had headlamp, flashlight and a map with GPS in my phone and yet we got lost once. (The problem in our case was we did not arrive there following the road but indirectly along the beach and throught forest. No wonder I did not recognize our way back).

Do you see a bat? Flying bats are not a hint of coming evening. They were flying around this place during whole day.

Light show begins

Following photos are from the 1st evening at Anse Source D'Argent. It was cloudy unimpressive weather during whole day. But then sun peeked with such an intensity, amplified by dark clouds in opposite direction. I was stunned. Luckily not enough to drop my camera into warm water I was standing in.

Sun is history, but show must go on

Following photos are from next day. I had my tripod with me on that day so I could take photos also after sun was "long" gone. Long means 15 minutes in this case.

I would say the following photos might be considered a proof of my claim how quickly it gets dark close to equator. The 1st photo was 3s exposure at aperture 5.6. The last one only 6 minutes later was already 10s at f/4.8.
