Westward trip from Cardiff. Castles of Wales be beware of us and lock your gates! :-)

Margam Castle

Nice cloudy weather, but it does not suit photography well. I left tripod in the car. "Somebody" turned focusing to manual thus I deleted the first bunch of photos after card got full. Castle closed.

Laugharne Castle

It is getting bit more cold and windy, we are now near the ocean. Great, this one is closed too :-) We are here 2 weeks sooner.

Do not look at the the people, but notice Nikonians cap! :-)

Tenby

No castle in sight here, but we came here to see beaches. Terribly windy and cold.

Evidently, nobody told those jokers, that it is too cold out there! :-D OK, maybe that surfer got it finally.

Manorbier Castle

It rains a lot here, we are staying in car. I tried to take some pictures, got really wet in few minutes and pictures are much worse than those made from car later. Nothing shown here, because this page shows only those taken by Nikon and by me :-D ... Sorry!

Pembroke Castle

We are either 45 min late or one month sooner. No problem, all castles are the same inside and it only takes time ;-) Still cloudly, but after we got to car (parked far away enough to avoid parking fee) sun peeked up. Only one sunny picture taken from car and ruined by honking car behind us! (not shown here).

Well, I missed this one by 0.1 sec. I should be faster next time :-(

Carew Castle

After getting sunshine and having only a few minutes to sunset we sped to our last destination (I do not count TE*CO (censored)). We got there from incorrect side for photo purposes (and of course it was closed). So we hopped to the car and sped by narrow road around castle, stopping sometimes to take pictures from car (moto-shooting :-) ). Later on we got to other side and still being able to take some pictures.

Finally some decent picture of food!
